How We Got
Our Name:

On Target Pet Sitting LLC is run by Alyssa (click the "About Us" tab to learn more). Alyssa had a childhood tabby cat that she named "Squeak" because when he was a kitten his meow sounded more like a squeak. But Squeak was quickly given another name due to his markings. Squeak was nicknamed "Target" by many family members because he had a very obvious bullseye on one side of him. Sadly, when Alyssa was seventeen and Squeak was approximately fourteen, Squeak passed away from what was believed to be cancer. Squeak was Alyssa's first love and first loss therefore, she decided she wanted something to be in his name. Therefore, once Alyssa decided to create a pet sitting business she decided to put it in his name.

How to Prepare For A Pet Sitter:

Label Everything

Label everything! Label food, supplements, medicines, etc. and place them in an obvious location (counter or table) or leave a note reminding your sitter where they are located.

Have Contact Information Accessible

On Target will collect all immediate emergency contacts (vet, farrier, partners, etc.) but any additional contacts such as siblings or parents that may also be able to help in an emergency situation should be posted in an easy to find location (such as a fridge or door).

Leave travel supplies near the door

Leave all leashes, crates/carriers, halters, etc. near the door or an obvious location.
